FOODIES at the San Sebastian Film Festival

Earlier this week, I made a very short trip to San Sebastian to attend the International premiere of FOODIES at the San Sebastian Film Festival.

When I stepped out of the airport after 15 hours of long haul, I met our fellow blogger Perm (the skinny bib) in the FOODIES documentary. From there, we began to talk about restaurants and food. The conversation on food never ended for the rest of the trip.

As a matter of fact, it was the very first time where 5 of the foodies were in the same city at the same time. It was definitely a rare occasion. There were 3 screenings at the festival and all tickets were sold on the first day. It was a bit embarrassing to watch myself on the huge screen, but the movie was enjoyable in general. I believe it’s very hard to tell everything about the so-called “foodie” world in a 60+ minutes film, but our “best actor” in FOODIES – Steve Plotnicki – had made some philosophical statements that we all agreed on.

So for the question on when exactly you will get to see the movie in other parts of the world… I am terribly sorry to say that I still have no idea about it even we spoke to the Fortissimo Films in person. But all of us will keep everyone updated on our blogs. 🙂
