I did a short trip to Bangkok earlier this year for a short vacation and hit a few places that I wanted to try including Gaggan, Bo Lan, and Nahm.
As for the environment, Bo Lan was my favourite while Nahm was my least favourite in this trip.
Bo Lan is like a big villa, mainly furnished by wood, slightly with a modern touch. It’s a very relaxing place to enjoy a mean in the busy city.
Food at Bo Lan gives a little twist to some local Thai dishes. It’s also served in Thai style where you get every dish at the same time.
My favourite was the curry with rice and the red ruby jackfruit dessert.
Overall, I enjoyed local food in Bangkok way more than the fine dining restaurants. None of the restaurants gave me an urge to return but I am glad that I tried them out at least for once.
