It has always been a pleasure to visit Miyoshi. My second experience here only got even better than the first one, it made it to one of my must re-visit restaurants in Kyoto.
More and more people start to learn about Miyoshi is probably because it’s always rated as the top 10 restaurant in Kyoto. Dishes at Miyoshi isn’t just about beef. One of my favourite dish this time was the abalone and gyu tan shabu shabu. The abalone was so tender and the quality was so good that it’s probably one of the best abalone I had in 2016.
The sirloin uni rice was also an highlight. Honestly I am not really a big fan for uni dishes as I thought it’s always being over used by some restaurant. But I really enjoyed the dish.
The green tea sorbet with Hakushu Whisky gave a great end to the meal, light and refreshing after all the wagyu and Kobe beef.
I always look forward to visit the restaurant again whenever I pass by Kyoto.
