This super tiny, elongated sushi restaurant is one fine place for sushi in Fukuoka. The restaurant is so small that you will need to squeeze a bit if someone at the end of the hallway need to use the washroom. But this didn’t bother me to enjoy a nice sushi meal.
Sushi Sakai now doesn’t take call-in reservations by foreigners. Either you need a Japanese to make a reservation or you will need a hotel concierge to arrange it for you.
Their otsumami and sushi were both good. If I am back to Fukuoka again, I would love to do both Tenzushi and Sakai again.
