Miyazono (鮨 宮園), Tokyo

Right opposite to the famous tonkatsu place, Butagumi, there’s Miyazono. If you don’t have the energy to fit yourself into one of those famous sushi places in Japan, this should be an easy place to score a reservation.

The young sushi chef is very friendly and his magic box will surprise you will different kinds of seasonal neta. I do think this place is value for money, and the good thing is it opens till very late (1am). Craving for sushi after a drink? That’s definitely a great place to go 😛

  1. There is that amazing r(h)um bar called Taifa that same block. Most r(h)ums you’ll see outside of the Caribbean, a labour of love by a wonderful lady who loves her r(h)ums. Also the quite excellent Taku is there for sushi (and surprisingly good wine selection) — one of the rarer sushiyas that has female assistants in the kitchen.
