It was a blessing to be able to meet the legendary chef again this summer. Their summer menu has been my favourite menu.
In this visit, Jiro san’s sushi was slightly smaller than the one I had last year. I have always preferred smaller sushi as I get filled up very easily if I have too much carbohydrates. The portion this time was just right for me. In this one hour meal, my favourite was the shako, abalone, eel and the tamago.
The neta quality at jiro various from time to time, but the motivation to revisit is mostly Jiro San’s nigiri skills and their vinegary rice.
I treasure every chance to visit this restaurant as Jiro San is getting older and older, although he is still energetic as a 91 year old man.
I look forward to my next visit. 🙂
