If you are looking for a good kappo place, Higichi should be on your list. Sometimes I prefer a kappo place cuz it feels more casual than traditional kaiseki places.
Everything comes in small bite size portion and you get a variety of things. A crowd pleaser would be the red bean ice cream sandwich but I actually enjoy most of the dishes, not just the dessert.
