Spring Moon, Hong Kong

Spring Moon’s located at the old wing of the Peninsula Hotel. The hotel boasts a collection of antiques and paintings – all which are exhibited in their signature restaurants.

The restaurant’s interiors (as you can expect) has the oriental look, reminiscent of early 19th century design. The antique collection and an array of Zisha teapots were displayed on the tea counter.

Although the restaurant did not excel in every single dish, you could tell that the Spring Moon chefs chose the ingredients with care. Thumbs up for the Lamb casserole with bean curd sheets and lettuce – where it soaked up the flavours from the stew. Another recommended dish to try would be its friend glutinous rice. Desserts however were mediocre.
