I regretted a bit in picking this restaurant, or maybe I should say I regretted a bit in doing the full tasting menu.
The $500USD+ meal didn’t offer 500 bucks worth of enjoyment. Everything was of course very traditional as expected. All the dish were made with nice ingredients, carefully executed (except for the main dish which I thought it was slightly overcooked), there’s nothing much to complain about. But at the very same time, there’s nothing that left an impression. It’s a nice meal, but I really doubt if I would pay 500$ for another meal here.
With this price, I think I would even prefer the Robuchon in Hong Kong and Macau, and of course Tokyo.
