Tokami is famous for their red vinegar shari, as they believe red vinegar goes well with maguro.
I do agree that it good with maguro but the first visit to Tokami didn’t give me an immediate want to revisit this place. I was also a little shocked that the neta fell off from the shari once the sushi landed on my plate. Maybe it as an off day of the chef. My favourite was actually the tamago which was served in a creme brûlée style.
I think it’s not a bad place for sushi but it doesn’t seemed to be the style of sushi that I prefer. I might give it a second try, but not sure when.
