A lot of people craved about Ukai Tei in Ginza. As a matter of fact, the Ukai Tei in Ginza is not the original shop. But it has amazing interior and exterior design.
As for wagyu teppayaki, I actually preferred Bifteck Kawamura in Ginza more. Comparing to my previous experience at Bifteck Kawamura, the Kobe beef at kawamura was better than the one in Ukai Tei – the fattiness was more even, the texture has a better bite to it. What I enjoyed most was actually the clams and the pudding. I wouldn’t say the pudding is superb, but the texture was silky and the flavors were strong.
