Wagyu Takumi is a counter teppanyaki restaurant in Wanchai. Although the shop is named as Wagyu Takumi (the artisan of wagyu), it’s more like a French restaurant with Japanese influence instead of a place that specialises in Japanese beef.
I think Wagyu Takumi is a nice place to have Japanese Wagyu in Hong Kong. Maybe their Wagyu didn’t hit the top of my list but it was an enjoyable meal with good ingredients. I prefer it to some other two star restaurants in Hong Kong like Pierre and Caprice.
